Player Development

Player development is at the heart of everything we do. Our experienced coaches focus on helping every player reach their full potential, building technical skills, game understanding, confidence, and character. We are proud of our track record in supporting talented young players on their rugby journey, with several Smiths players progressing to represent Gloucester Rugby through the Developing Player Pathway (DPP).

Train & Play

Every Sunday, Smiths Rugby Juniors train and play at the historic Prince of Wales Stadium in the heart of Cheltenham, providing players with the opportunity to develop their skills in a fantastic rugby environment. With excellent facilities and a proud rugby heritage, the stadium offers the perfect setting for players to learn, compete, and build lasting friendships. From structured training sessions to exciting match days, every Sunday is an opportunity to improve, enjoy the game, and be part of a thriving rugby community.
